Watering my health

I really need to stop doing the whole "survive by eating what I'm given and drinking what I'm given" bullshit. Water used to be my life, without it I would (actually still do) get migraines super bad. From 5+ cups of water a day to 1, that's bad. Guess I didn't realize how much water intake really helps your health. Maybe it's how badly other beverages are for you.
Either way, I'm joining in with Amy from Diary of a Fat Girl for the 30-day water challenge. Print out the sheet with 8-glasses of water next to each day. Mark off as you drink, and if you fail you fail. Like Amy said, you wont get arrested. It's worth a shot! Feel free to print out the sheet and join in!

Etsy additions

Recently I've taken up sewing. Hand sewing, with felt and string. I've listed a few of my pouches up for sale in my Etsy shop. Not sure what this particular pattern is called and it's killing me! I fancy the black and white over the blue and green. I also make iPhone cozys/cases (see middle picture).

That day I finally asked myself "what the crap happened to Pluto anyways?"

So we've all heard about Pluto no longer being a planet in the media since 2006. Isn't it hilarious that something so serious and scientific has been a huge media star and meme legend? Anyways, I had my laughs, and now I'm curious. What did happen to Pluto?

Let's rewind. 1930, Clyde Tombaugh discovered the dwarf planet Pluto. That's like...not that long ago. I seriously thought Pluto was discovered way before that. 2005, Mike Brown discovers an object 27% greater than that of Pluto with an orbit around the sun. Pluto is now what we call a dwarf planet. A dwarf planet is just massive enough for it's shape to be controlled by gravitation and orbit the sun. Unlike a planet, a dwarf planet hasn't cleared it's orbital region of other objects. Other objects such as the one Mike Brown discovered perhaps? Eris. I don't know honestly, I just know that's the name of the dwarf planet found giving away Pluto. Ruining everything, like a total bitch.

According to Star (HA), the two - Pluto and Eris - are happy they've found one another.

If I got you into a science mood, I highly suggest YouTube-ing a bunch of BillNye, and if you have Netflix watch some Breaking Bad.

HopefulKiss review

Recently I ordered a lipstick sample from Galaxia at HopefulKiss. My heart was set on Revlon's Kissable Pink, and by ordering I got a free sample of NYC in Flirty. I loved both! Personally lipstick isn't an everyday thing for me, only for special occasions. However, lipstick is one of my favorite things.

I was afraid the Kissable Pink wasn't going to suit me since I'm so pale. Luckily I was wrong. The particular shade gave me a sweet innocence (HA!). It went on smoothly and didn't clump (besides on the chapped part of my lower lip).

I might not be a beauty expert, but these lipstick samples are a great deal if you're like me and don't use lipstick daily. I bargained this lovely shade for only $1.95! Comes in a container with a complimentary brush to have a smooth even coat. Check out Galaxia's shop here!

How to Jesse Pinkman

If anybody's my ideal husband, it's Jesse Pinkman. He's sexy, smart in his own way, and rather silly. Plus he's a millionaire meth chef. I've come fond of his attire while watching the last few seasons of Breaking Bad on Netflix. From leather jackets to beanies - here's Pinkman's look.

I must add, I really want this. Hehe.

Harlynn or Micaela?

I'm going to tell you a little story about my nickname Harlynn. My given nickname was actually Harley, like harlequin. I enjoined this. It explained my personality and what I basically did in the area. Entertained, like a little harlequin. Just minus the royal family and friends.

One day I was walking with some friends to play basketball. Playing basketball with a bunch of black guys was on my bucket list. Anyways, some recently seen faces show up in a car - with one in paticular. He was looking at me in the same strange way. I asked if I knew him, and he responded "I don't know, do you?". It was then I knew I in fact did not. As they drove off he yelled out the window "I'd love to ride me a Harley!". It was then I knew he was in fact a douche bag. Why wasn't I smarter than the douche bag here? I must have not thought too hard on it.

Why the change to Harlynn? It's my paternal grandpa's name. Couldn't tell you shit about him. Just know he smoked himself away and had red hair. That reminds me of myself, ha.  He spelled it the typical male way, like Harlin I believe. I thought it sounded pretty. Just spelled with different vowels does the trick, haha.  I also enjoined the fact it was similar to Harley. So I like to use HarlynnQuinn at times for things. Has a ring to it.

My real name is Micaela. Not Makayla. It's Micheal with an "a", but without the "h" so it looks pretty. No, that's not really why, I just happen to think its a good coincidence.

Nail art

Here's a collection of nails I fancy. From Octopus to Wicked Witch, people are so creative with nails nowadays. My personal favorites are the cosmos and the pop art comic book inspired nails. The Wicked Witch comes in the top too though! What are you favorites?

Why I'm horrified of butterflies

      The Real Butterfly Effect

I can tolerate snakes and alligators, but never a butterfly. Bugs annoy and scare the hell out of me. Butterflies are hideous bugs in disguise. With flappy wings going any which way it pleases. However, have you ever looked at a butterfly without it's wings? Have you looked at one close up before? I have. It's not pretty. Take a look for yourself.

Where do I start? The weird mouth spiral, the strange eyes, the creep ass antenna. Ugh. I can't stand this picture. I also can't stand the butterfly house at the Detroit Zoo. The zoo is fine, it's the creepy greenhouse full of butterflies to walk through I dislike. They're allowed to land on you, but  you can't touch them. Last time I darted through the thing careful not to step on any of the monsters.

Take the wings away, and you have a horrendous bug. Keep the wings, you have a flying horrendous bug. Who in the hell do butterflies think they are anyways? I've noticed when they fly, they decide to do drifts. This doesn't help me know where to let them be so they're safe. It's annoying, creepy, and rude. Hmmph.

Yeah, I'm scared of butterflies.
You're not?

Letters from Laney

Since I've become a blogger I've met some good blogging buddies. One of them being my pen pal Laney from Georgia. We actually set up a weekly link-up, you can find it here. Anyways, yesterday was just another Monday. Until I got my mail. My business cards came, a letter from my pen pal Lauren came, and some goodies from Miss.Laney.

She included some sample perfume, avon lip moisturizer, three rubber band bracelets she made, one gorgeous owl one, rose ring, cute blank owl card, scary butterfly coin purse, some emergenC, and adorably packed peanuts.

I think these bracelet's are too cool. You can do so many different looping styles, I'd love to get into it. Laney made three fabulous bracelets. ^_^

      I think that's where my *hint hint* was. c;

Update on Gypzilla

So my mom picked up my kitty Gypsy from my ex a few days ago. The day after I saw her in the morning and asked how Gypsy was doing her first night. My mom replied

"Well...*sigh* she's a brat. Haha".

It's true. Anyways. We all love her. However, she apparently was hissing. See, she got this new food. It's that Blue shit and all natural. My ex got her on it. Which I'm happy about vs Meow Mix. My lil devil apparently hisses at anybody near her food now. My pup Oliver was checking it out, as they used to piss each other off and eat each others food in the past. He didn't know, but surprisingly got hissed at. I find this hilarious, because she knows he has senior rights.

She also knocked a few things while climbing the tallest display shelf/book shelf in the friggen house, behind the television. She's previously been spotted several times sitting on the dish washer while loading it, and once outside the shower curtain on the side of the tub while I was showering. I flipped out and scared her, but I didn't expect that. Haha. Should have thought not to scare her anywhere near a tub. >.>
