Little Miss Sunshine

I walk up into my grandparents house to see my 7-year-old sidekick Angelika crying in the living room. I run in there and hug her, talk to her, and eventually practice her spelling words. Really rootin she gets 'Blizzard' down! The point is that it was horrible having to come in to see her upset, no matter what about.

Eventually we adventured outside. I rocked her scarf and frozen hat. Hehe.

We had a snowball fight. The snow was really fluffy, but there were still chunks? Lol. Angelika looks so pumped to strike me with those snowballs after the picture, Haha.

My homegirl of course has an awesome pet. This tree frog was adorable yet slimey ahaha.

Just stuck like those hand stickey things from the fifty cent machine as it glided do often. You do know those slimey stickey hands you'd throw and it sticks into glass for 50 cents - Promise.

We be crazy. I love when she sees my facial expression in the camera eventually, ahaha.

She insisted I get a picture with no glasses, so I had her put on the nerdy shades. I'll see little miss later after she gets outta school today, glad I've been able to spend more time with her.

Julep Maven

I received yet another Julep Maven box. Julep is a nail polish brand with various shades, and quick dry time.

The box includes three polishes. This included a shimmery pink color, charcoal, and a gorgeous mint. My mothers nail collection consists of pink, pink, and more pink, so she'll be getting the pink polish. I'm loving the charcoal and mint.

If you've seen my Time of the season post, you saw my new metamorphic plugs. I thought the effect was damn spiffy, and absolutely adore the plugs. For Christmas I got my girl a metamorphic chillum. Now I recieve this bonus metamorphic polish!

Please excuse the messy job. I put the metamorphic coat over Julep's mint polish. The subtle shimmer is perfect for a casual look. I'm going to add a few more coats and see how it turns out.

They included the polishes, a bonus coat, and junior mints. Junior mints! They've had my heart for as long as I can remember. Another plus about Julep, polishes are all vegan friendly and made in the USA. You can visit julep.com to sign up for a Maven box. It's worthwhile and affordable.

I'll be holding a giveaway to receive 30% off Julep products. Two lucky winners will be picked by next week. Be sure to keep your eyes peeled for the giveaway!

OOTD plum leggings

From scarf to boots, this outfit has a story. The beautiful scarf was made by my homegirl Alex. Once I've convinced her to sell on Etsy, I'll be sure to let you know! The leather jacket is also Alex's (she took my pea coat while I borrow this). I feel it's more my style.

My Faja got me this dress for my birthday. I love the lace, shows class. The leggings are made with Rayon partially, which is a huge plus for a hooper. They are high rise. Not your average "wear like yoga pants" fit. It gives a camel toe appearance in result of the way the seam is sewn. On the contrary, they're rocking with a dress! Also very cozy and warm. You can find them at eShakti, with sizes ranging from women's 0-32.

As I assumed, these are perfect hooper leggings! The top image shows my String Art Incident hoop (found on Etsy). The bottom image shows my MoodHoop (moodhoops.com). Both hoop suppliers sponsor me, which gives you discounts!! For a gorgeous custom or pre-made polypro hoop/minis, head over to String Art Incident on Etsy. For a discount enter coupon code MICAELASPONSOR. For great quality LED toys head over to MoodHoops.

My favorite and newest addition to my wardrobe, my Hello Kitty tribal boots. They're super comfy with great grip. The casualty of each Hello Kitty button makes me fall in love with them even more.
